This manual is for a 40 year old machine so an original would have been a mess by now. The copy I received was clear & enlarged to fit the 8.5x11" paper. It was bound very well with cover stock & a plastic spine. I'm sure it will last 40 years to come. If you need literature for an older sewing machine this is a fantastic place to get it.
