Item description
JIMMY DORSEY AND HIS ORCHESTRA: “LATIN AMERICAN FAVORITES” (1955). DECCA "BLACK LABEL WITH SILVER PRINT." CATALOG # DL 8153. NM+/ NM.
Absolutely beautiful glossy vinyl surfaces which are sleek and shiny with no scuffs or scratches at all on either side of the record. The spindle hole is completely intact and a perfectly-rounded circle. Both sides of the label are sleek and clean with no stress lines or surface wear. Album cover is structurally exceptional with no creases or seam splits and no cut-outs or clipped corners. The album cover surface is sleekly- defined and exceptionally smooth and bright all the way across the entire expanse of the surface areas. Deep, rich, and vividly bright color tones on this clean and texturally smooth album cover. Edges of the sleeve are straight and very nicely- defined all the way around the margins. The spine edge is also exceptional and very nicely- structured with solid black and completely intact lettering aligned very evenly right along the square edge of the spine ! (See the photos.) And all four of the corners of the album cover are exceptionally sharp as well as near perfectly- defined right angles.
Craig's Collector Note: This is the original 1955 Mono version of the album with its "black label and silver print".
