Item description
Pre-viewed for quality and plays perfect, no defects, cassette is nice and clean and in great shape. The box cover has a few minor endentations across the top portion that can only be seen when tilted in the light.
The uncompressed stereo surround sound is better than it's digital counterpart, it has more gusto. This full screen version is going Out Of Print (OOP) in all formats and is perfect for old school televisions as the aspect ratio will fill your square frame.
The genuinely remarkable story of RAY Charles is told within the framework of a conventional Hollywood biopic, anchored by flashbacks to emotional touchstones in Charles' boyhood and spiked by his sensational record hits.
Foxx is uncannily perfect (lip-synching Charles' recordings), and the women (Washington as his wife, Aunjanue Ellis as his first vocalist and mistress, Regina King as her replacement--the first Raelette--and Sharon Warren as his mother) are all superb.
