Item description
Everything looks new, watched only once. I actually liked this movie and I don't normally go for dramas. This is a true story though, and I believe that makes a differance. Out Of Print (OOP) in all formats and no longer being produced.
In the 1920s, the Pettigrews live on the family estate of Gamma Macintosh (Rosemary Harris) in the Scottish Highlands. Eccentric would-be inventor Edward (Colin Firth) ineffectually manages the property, with wife Mora (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) and his children, including mischievious 10-year-old Fraser (Robert Norman).
Fraser's safe world is rocked by the arrival of his buisinessman Uncle Morris (Malcolm McDowell) and his uncle's seductive French fiancee, Heloise (Irene Jacob), who draws the immediate and over attentive gaze of Edward.
