Vintage Hand Woven & Stained Grass & Carved and 50 similar items

Absolutely beautiful, handmade dyed grass and hand carved wood bird basket has clean, elegant lines, and obviously took great skill to produce! Done in the colors of straw and dark brown, there are dark brown triangles (top bottom), a carved wood base that the grass is threaded through, and a hand carved top insert . I don't know what kind of grass or wood this is, but this a gorgeous example of folk art. A truly stunning piece! Created on the island of Lomboc, next to the island of Bali in Indonesia. No damage anywhere that I can see. 7" long x 5 1/2" wide x 3 3/8" tall.
