Item description
"Top of the World, Ma!"
The amazing James Cagney could do it all--drama, tragedy, comedy, dance. Boy, could he dance!
Who can forget him as George M. Cohan in 'Yankee Doodle Dandy!'
(And do you remember when he reprised that role in
'The Seven Little Foys' with Bob Hope?!)
Sure, he may have started out playing bad guys...
shoving grapefruit in a lady's face...but
let's not dwell on the nasty side of this great actor!
We won't go...'Over There!'
(Okay...that is a reference to the song Cohan wrote
as the anthem of World War I!)
This is a stunning lithograph, on off-white heavy stock paper...
of that Talented Tough Guy, James Cagney...That Yankee Doodle Boy!
10" x 13", ready to frame, or to be trimmed to fit
either a 9" x 11" or 8" x 10" frame.
It is Vintage, mid-1970's, by B. Morgen,
who also created other celebrity art litho prints as
Glen Banse (and as we all know by now--also as 'Hillman!')
In great shape...stored all these years and Never displayed.
That will be up to You!
