IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION:
By default, item is supposed to be shipped as registered international package/letter with a tracking number in order to avoid unpleasant situations.
When checking the "Shipping and handling" section of the listing, or when proceeding with the checkout, please note that "Expedited International Shipping" and/or "Standard International Shipping" means shipping with a tracking number. "Economy International Shipping" means shipping without a tracking number and it is usually somewhat cheaper (approximately 20-35% cheaper, depending on item's mass).
"Economy International Shipping" is by default unavailable for certain destinations due to past negative experiences.
"Economy International Shipping" is by default unavailable for more expensive items since it is in our mutual interest for expensive, rare, or high quality items to arrive safely at the destination.
"Economy International Shipping" is by default unavailable for heavier items since either 1) "Economy International Shipping" does not apply for items's mass category, or 2) It is cheaper or equally as expensive to use one of tracked shipping options depending on the world zone the destination is located in.
Listed shipping prices are actual packaging and shipping costs, I do not make any extra money from them. I have put a lot of effort to define the shipping options for various locations in order for you, the buyer, to have a complete information when making a decision.
Additional postal services, if desired, will be charged extra (for instance: fragile package option, if possible, courier services, or something else), as per valid shipping costs lists of delivery company(ies). Please contact me regarding these services prior to purchase if you want to inquire about other shipping options.
If your and PayPal addresses are not the same, and I see that discrepancy, I will contact you to verify the shipping address in order for you to receive the item exactly where you want it. Buyer can also contact me before or immediately after purchase with any requests regarding shipping address change, as long as the buyer contacts me within a reasonable amount of time. I usually ship items the next day, but sometimes I am able to ship an item on the same day if a purchase happens during morning CET (before I am about to go to the post office for that day) so it is vital to contact me immediately regarding address change (or cancellations, for which please see the section about cancellations below).
IMPORTANT SHIPPING LIABILITY INFORMATION:
A buyer may always inquire about the possibility of shipping using "Economy International Shipping" to their destination (if their destination currently does not allow it), or select that option when checking out (if their destination does allow it), but in that case I, the seller, do not take any responsibility for any items being lost in the mail since that leaves room for dishonest practices by a buyer. For instance, a dishonest buyer might receive the item, but claim he has not received it in order to request a refund. In case of "Economy International Shipping" I have no way of confirming his/her statement and would be at a loss in case I must issue a refund. Therefore, by using "Economy International Shipping", buyer has accepted that he understands his/her own liability for the delivery and delivery failures. As a best option and a win-win situation for all, I propose to always use shipping with a tracking number ("Expedited International Shipping" and/or "Standard International Shipping") since it is usually only approximately 20-35% more expensive and we are both protected from negative experiences regarding loss of item (for item loss information, please see section below).
IMPORTANT REFUND AND LOSS OF ITEM INFORMATION:
In case a tracked item does get lost, buyer is entitled to a full refund. Refund will be issued after seller receives reimburse for damages from the postal services. This can take up to a month and a half or two months from the moment a buyer requests a refund from the seller, so I advise to be patient, should such a situation occur. Standard procedure is as follows: I, as a seller, can start the search procedure after a month has passed since the item was shipped. That is the Post's rule. Then, the postal employees will do their inquiry and try to locate and deliver the package. In case they cannot locate and deliver the package, they will inform me that the item cannot be found and that I am entitled to damages. All that can take up to a month after I register a complaint. After I get that "Resolution" from them, I can apply for damages. After I apply for damages, it usually takes another one or two weeks to receive the money. After that, I can refund the buyer, either through/PayPal refund options or I can send the money directly to the buyer's PayPal account from which I received the original payment. I keep a record of all transactions with e-mail addresses and I can refund money after all usual deadlines have gone by.
In case an untracked ("Economy International Shipping") item does get lost, buyer is not entitled to any refund due to conditions listed under "IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION" and "IMPORTANT SHIPPING LIABILITY INFORMATION".
In case an item arrives physically damaged, and the item was sold as complete, undamaged, with all parts or operational (or any other term meaning "fit for purpose"), buyer is entitled to either a partial or full refund, depending on mutual agreement. Buyer is required to provide photographic proof of the damaged item. In case the buyer has the possibility and will to attempt the repairs him/herself or to have the item repaired by a professional, refund terms are to be negotiated based on repair costs or any other issue. Buyer may also inquire about damages at their own postal service provider.
In case an item does not work, and the item was sold as complete, undamaged, with all parts or operational (or any other term meaning "fit for purpose"), buyer is entitled to a partial or full refund, depending on mutual agreement. Buyer is required to provide proof of the item's state of (in)operability. In case the buyer has the possibility and will to attempt the repairs him/herself or to have the item repaired by a professional, refund terms are to be negotiated based on repair costs or any other issue.
In case an item arrives undamaged, operational, or otherwise in technical condition that is stated in the listing (arrives "fit for purpose"), but shows slight difference in colour tint that was not visible due to photograph quality on the computer screen, buyer is not entitled to any refund. Buyers may inquire about any details of the item, including colour and state of the item beforehand. It is impossible for me to influence such minor details about the item since I have at my disposal only a standard off-the-shelf digital camera and not professional photographic equipment. I do my best to depict and describe items as they are.
In case an item is sold as "DAMAGED", "AS-IS", "FOR PARTS OR REPAIR" (or any other term meaning the same), and has a "NO RETURN POLICY", the buyer is not allowed to return the item due to "item is not working" or "item is damaged" claims and the buyer is not entitled to any refund. Such items are sold in order for the buyer to attempt repairs and restore them to their full potential. These items usually cost much less than fully functional ones would cost exactly because they are "for parts or repair" and require further investment. Please read the descriptions of the items carefully and inquire about any uncertainties in order to avoid conflicts.
In case an item for which a "NO RETURN POLICY" arrives physically damaged (for instance, a crack in the casing), and the item was not stated to have been physically damaged (for instance, there was no such crack in the casing in the listing photo), a buyer is entitled to either a partial or full refund, depending on mutual agreement. In case the buyer has the possibility and will to attempt the repairs him/herself or to have the item repaired by a professional, refund terms are to be negotiated based on repair costs or any other issue. Buyer is required to provide photographic proof of the damaged item in order to compare the state with the photo in the listing.
IMPORTANT CANCELLATION INFORMATION:
A buyer may cancel his/her order for any reason in case the item has not been shipped yet, even after the payment has been made, within a day since payment being cleared by PayPal. Therefore, it is vital to contact me immediately about any cancellations in order to avoid the item being shipped within the same day.
In case more than a day has passed since purchase/cleared payment, a buyer is not allowed to simply cancel the order because usually that means that the item has already been shipped. In that case, two situations are possible. In case the item has not yet been shipped after a day has passed, cancellation will be accepted and money refunded immediately. In case the item has already been shipped (a day has passed since payment clearance), the buyer may accept the package and re-evaluate if he wants the item if he wishes. If, upon receiving the item, the buyer wants to return it, buyer must pay for return shipping with a tracking number. Buyer will receive a partial refund after the item is returned to me (buyer will receive the full value of the item, and I will keep the original shipping costs since cancellation was not due to any fault at my side. Buyer may also not accept the package at all (at which point it will return).
