Wilton Pewter Pitcher 9" tall Mt joy, Pa USA and similar items

This is a large pitcher that weighs 3.5 pounds. It is 9 inches tall, 9 1/2 inches spout to handle. On the base it has Wilton Mount Joy, Pa. USA. I was told that this item was pewter I am not sure. The inside is rough and not shiny. Does need cleaning. Please look at the pictures closely so that you can see what I am talking about.
