Travel Sketches of Today --
This book consists of extracts from twenty-two books of travel. It is a selection of short, well-written, interesting sketches depicting modern travel in many lands under a variety of circumstances. It is meant to be captivating, instructive, and inspiring.
Edited, with Introduction and Study Helps By
Charles Lane Hanson-- Head of the Department of English, Mechanic Arts High School, Boston, Massachusetts
And by
William J. Gross -- Junior Master, Mechanic Arts High School, Boston, Massachusetts
Copyright 1929
Published by The Athenaeum Press, Ginn Company, Proprietors, Boston, U.S.A.
325 pages -- with black/white photos of people and places
Very Good condition. No cover. Tight spine/binding. Boards are good, have nice corners, a bit of scuffing on the corner fabric. I don't see a water stain mark, but the pages are slightly wrinkled along the bottom, it has discolored a small spot on the bottom page end.
The map on the front paste down and first end page has the following information below it:
Map Plate, Patented July 5, 1921
Method of Making Maps, Patented July 5, 1921
Copyright of Ginn Company
