LUMMOX BACK STREET by Fannie Hurst Popular Library Penguin Books, 1st pb printings, 1946 Condition: Good From the WW1 era through the 1930s, Fannie Hurst was a popular American writer of novels and short stories (both of these books were filmed). Now her works are largely out of print. LUMMOX: Some cover creasing, short tear at spine head, some other lighter spine end wear, cover corner wear, some lamination peeling some of the outer layer of paper has also peeled on spine/front cover; some small page corner creases at the front, a spine break at the back with two pages partially torn at the gutter and small light writing on 2 front pages. STREET has spine wear, some as a result of lamination peeling, some cover corner/edge wear, a partial back page tear at the gutter, small writing on the front cover reverse moderately toned pages; the top page edges are darkened and the lower edges have 3 marks. But both books are otherwise firmly bound.
