Players can choose from 30 NFL teams and over 1500 licensed athletes as they embark on a 16-game season, exhibition game, playoffs, or simulation. The latter features 50 historic scenarios to complete as well as an option to design new challenges. Each team's playbook features 1000 offensive plays, many of which were designed with the help of cover star Brett Favre, and 500 defensive plays.
