Item description
This vintage celestial-themed brooch features a polished crescent moon contrasted against a satin-finished night sky. The man in the moon's face looks out over a collection of inset clear rhinestone stars. The celestial theme, use of rhinestones, and combination of different finishes are hallmarks of 1980s design.
The brooch measures 1.625" (4.13 cm) in diameter and is secured with a hinged pin and safety clasp. It is in good vintage condition, with only minor signs of wear, including a small nick in the plating at the tip of the crescent moon.
