HARDCASE by Matt Kinkade - Avon Books, 1st Printing, 1953 YELLOWHORSE by Dee Brown - Ballantine Books, 1st pb printing, 1956 - Condition: Very Good Minus Near VG Two original paperback westerns, though YELLOWHORSE was simultaneously published in hardback. HARDCASTLE has light cover/spine creasing, backcover rubbing, tiny chips at spine ends, toned pages; the book also has a slight curve. Yet the binding is firm with no markings. YELLOWHORSE has light wear on extremities/spine edge, store/price stamps on 1st page, slight spine len and some unevenness of pages due to apparent regluing at spine. Still, the book is tight with no writing.
