The poster features Michel Beligond?s vibrant art and reads ?24 heures du Mans 21 et 22 Juin.? These posters belonged to race car driver William P Semon Jr who competed across Europe in the 1950s and ?60s. Four posters are available for sale in excellent to mint conditions; they have never been mounted or hung and have been stored rolled up in a poster storage tube. Apart from periodic handling to show them off, they likely haven?t seen a full day?s light since they were acquired by Mr. Semon in 1958. The 1958 poster depicts a red number 24 racing car driving at high speed on the race track towards the viewer with a second sports car following closely behind.
