COVER TOPIC: RIN TIN TIN -- the Million Dollar Dog. COVER: Almost everyone has different ideas about the sauces to serve with ice cream. There's the chocolate-sauce-with-
walnuts school and, of course, the butterscotch-with almonds. Non-calorie-counters will frequently add a big whoosh of
whipped cream. As our cover indicates, we lea to fruit sauces in the summertime. We especially like red currant or
greengage plum or apricot. But don't let our taste buds limit you. Crushed strawberries, peaches, blueberries and the lovely
purple plum all make up into flawless ice-cream sauces. We, too, like nuts with our ice cream, but with fruit sauce we
prefer to serve the nuts separately.
