c.1900 Russian 84 .875 Sterling Silver Vodka and 36 similar items

This was another fascinating research project that we needed all the marks to match up. We have not found the maker unfortunately although a pretty close match to Otto Reinhold Pettelius except he did not work in Vilnius and his work dates (1838-1874) preceded the assayer marks who we know absolutely to be Anatoli Apollonovich Artbashev based on the assayer mark he used in Vilnius likely between 1899-1908 (he also worked there in 1916). Because it was a smaller town (Vilnius) not as many silversmiths are known unless they lasted a long time or were simply well known in other larger cities as well. Hallmarked with the familiar ?84? meaning 84/96 or .875 silver. Appears to be hand engraved as many were and would hold a single shot of cold Russian vodka.
