1 oz Copper Medieval Legends Pied Piper Copper Round Collectible Coin
Description
Brilliant Collectible Coin !
.999 Pure Copper 1 oz
Obverse
On the obverse side of Copper Medieval Legends Pied Piper Rounds is an image of the classical figure. The Pied Piper is in the middle of the town playing his magical pipe, but he is not doing so to lure away the rats of the village. Having failed to pay the Pied Piper, the people of Hamelin will now pay the price as the Pied Piper turns his magical pipe on the children of the village to lure them away as a punishment. The lone inscription on this side includes PIED PIPER.
Reverse
The reverse field of 1 oz Copper Medieval Legends Pied Piper Rounds comes with a scene from within a Medieval castle. In this room with a single stained-glass window, a table is set up that has the relics of each of the characters in this series spread out on its surface. The Pied Piper?s magic flute is featured in the immediate foreground on the table. The inscriptions on this side read ONE OUNCE .999 FINE COPPER.
History
The Pied Piper was first recorded in the history of Hamelin, Lower Saxony, Germany. He was rumored to wear a multicolored outfit and use a magical pipe to lure rats out of villages. Among the early depictions of the Pied Piper was actually in artwork within a glass window in Marktkirche in Hamelin. His figure was later captured in a painting based on the glass artwork, with the painting completed in 1592.
