1940s Assymmetrical Blue Velvet Headband and 50 similar items

This amazing hat dates to the WWII era - it's a cocktail hat that is asymmetrical in luscious blue velvet! To one side a pair of frills are present and the other a velvet twist - it's so inspired and so iconic of the World War II fashions! The velvet ruffles measure a little more than 2" in height. Condition: This hat is around 80 years old it is not new. It is strong and ready to wear. There are some light marks to the velvet and some indentations from storage which to me aren't visible on. The velvet is so lovely and feels nice to the touch. Hand stitching is present as the inside shows, a scuff or loose stich here or there as the photos show. It presents beautifully and is such a gorgeous and iconic hat from the retro (late Art Deco and pre 1950s) World War II period! It presents well and looks stunning on.
