Roger Guerin (1896-1954) was one of the leading Belgian ceramists in Bouffioulx near Charleroi. Typical was his use of flowing glazes in his decorations. He was true to the history of this region, often working on a type of hard ceramic (fired to over 1250 degrees Celsius) which was made there since the late Middle Ages. He exhibited at the Paris expos of 1925 and 1937.
This exquisite vase is a rare find for any collector of art deco pottery. Crafted by the renowned Belgian artist Roger Querin, this vase is a stunning example of his unique abstract style. The vase is made of high-quality ceramic and features a matte finish that adds to its elegant look. The vase is handmade and has an impressed backstamp. It is signed by the artist himself and is an original piece from the art deco era. The brown color of the vase perfectly complements its art deco style. This vintage vase is a must-have for any lover of decorative pottery and glassware.
