It is widely rumored that Jimi Hendrix alluded that Phil Keaggy was the greatest guitarist of all time, but this has never been confirmed. The story goes like this: During a television interview, Hendrix was asked, "What does it feel like to be the greatest guitarist in the world?" and he supposedly responded, "I don't know, ask Phil Keaggy." Keaggy himself has responded to it and in response he this to say "One of the greatest myths ever told was that Jimi Hendrix said that I was the best guitarist in the world. I don't think Jimi Hendrix ever heard me play." Regardless of whether it was ever said or not, PHIL KEAGGY is incredible guitarist musician.
