30+Round Black Eggplant Seeds High Yield Tasty Green Asian Garden Vegetable USA
The Big Round Black Eggplant or Dark purple in color, fleshy fruits weigh from 12 to 14 oz, 5-6 inches in diameter, without bitterness but tender, less seeds, excellent flavor, high yield. They are excellent in stir fry and soup.Mid-season variety(110-145 days).
Sowing and planting
Eggplants need fertile, well-draining soil with a pH of 6.2-6.8. Sow seeds indoors in flats 6-8 weeks before the date of the last frost. The soil must be kept warm(at 80 ?F) 14 days to ensure germination. Transplant 20 days after sowing.Thin plants after 2-3 true leaves have formed. Transplant out after the date of the last frost and when soil has warmed to 70 degrees Fahrenheit (21?C). Use row covers to prevent flea beetles and other pests but remove them when flowers are observed. Some varieties will require staking. Clip off fruit regularly to promote the set of more flowers and fruit.
