Circus Elephants Salt & Pepper Shakers and 50 similar items

Offered is this vintage set of porcelain performing circus elephant salt and pepper shakers with raised trunk balancing on a pedestal. They are hand-painted in pretty pastels and although are not marked, were made by NAPCO circa Mid Century era. They are in very good to excellent vintage condition with no cracks, repairs to the porcelain or crazing of the glaze. There is a small, glaze chip on the side of one elephant?s mouth, noted in photo. The original corks are intact. Please see all photos for more detail on condition. As with many Japanese imports of that time, these are replicas (the original circus elephant figurine was made by Nymphenburg, Germany).
