The Beatles Rarities CD 1980 U.S. Version - and 50 similar items

Unique compilation put together by Ron Furmanek for Capitol Records in 1980 to combat the 'Collector's Items' bootleg, this particular album has never seen official release on CD. This is a real shame because it contains a number of (at the time) tough to find songs/versions in the U.S. and is still the best source to find several rarities (like the German extended version of And I Love Her or the newly created edits of Penny Lane and I Am The Walrus). It's also the only place to find the Sgt. Pepper Inner Groove as a uniquely indexed song (that doesn't repeat ad nauseam as it does on the Sgt. Pepper LP/CD) Still quite a cool collection, this fan-made disc has been lovingly put together from top quality sources throughout and sounds amazing. Likewise, the packaging has been put together with care to include the uncropped Butcher photo on the inner cover along with the inner sleeve photos. The disc's graphics has likewise been assembled with care from the original LP label. This is a set that you will enjoy and proudly show to friends. Seeing as this title will likely never see release on an official CD, this is the best alternative to be able to hear this album as sonically perfect as possible.
