Used vhs tape still has shrinkwrap protection and the cassette has store branded security labels on both endcaps assuring you of first generation quality. Right window of cassette also has some dry sticker residue on it. Box is a little rough around the bottom edges. Cover has a code sticker on the bottom right corner (see photo). Pre-viewed for quality, the black leader has some lines and static, everything else played fine. There is a spoiler trailer of the film itself at the begining so you might want to walk out of the room for it. Out Of Print (OOP) in all formats and no longer being produced. This Americans-in-Hell horror/fantasy about a cursed Mexican village has some strong similarities to the 'Laughing Dead' film. When their tour bus has a flat tire, two friends follow an old lady in black: "We could be following this hag into a trip to Hell!" and of course they do. They come upon a Monte Markham who is a friendly but worried American that runs a resturant. He warns them to leave town. They end up at the 17th-century home of Cesar Romero (Joker of TV Batman series), who has a mysterious, beautiful daughter and a black slave. Things get pretty strange when hooded monks on horseback start horsewhipping Monte. He really suffers: "Ohh! Ohh! Ohh! A-a-ahhh!" Some very impressive and surprising scenes feature a crowd of people in chains being whipped while walking down the street and then up a huge outdoor staircase that reminds one of Aztec structures. Monte and a topless woman are crucified. The Devil is pretty good too, with horns and three arms.
