Hand Tooled Vintage Calf Leather Men's and 50 similar items

I don't know for sure that this vintage wallet was made for the brand on the box it came in. I think it was, because it fits perfectly, and the tags seem to indicate that it is. It has never been used. The men's wallet is tan in color. It is stamped "Genuine Calf" on the inside. On the left pocket is stamped "Cards" and on the right side is "Passes." The middle leather piece on the inside, that the pockets are attached to, has pre-made crease lines to help it with folding. On the outside of the wallet, a hand tooled desert scene with a horse, a scroll with the monogram "JDL" and the front of another horse is worked into the leather. I am not sure if the lacing around the edges of the billfold is leather. It looks more like vinyl, to me (but I don't know a lot about leather crafting). The wallet is rather stiff. It has been laying flat inside the plastic bag, in this wallet box, for over 45 years. I don't know its exact age, but the person it was originally intended for passed away in 1975. The billfold measures 9 1/2 inches long and 3 9/16 inches wide (just a little over 3 1/2"). It's about 1/4 inch thick when empty and flat, and when used will be over 1/2 inch thick. There is a gold foil paper key that was tucked into one of the pockets. It's very bent up from being removed and replaced several times. There is a paper Identification card, made by the company, and the original price tag, along with it, are inside an open clear plastic holder. There is folded tissue paper inside the box, which appears to be original to the box. The box is slightly beat up and there is some staining inside the lid and the outside of the lid and also the bottom of the box. The box is in reasonably good condition considering its age.
