"Wigeon" by William C. Morris, the 1984-85 Federal Migratory Waterfowl Stamp Print, Artist Signed with matching 50th Anniversary U. S. Department of the Interior Stamp. Part of an edition of 20,400 artist signed and numbered prints that celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Federal Duck Stamp program. It's hard to find vintage stamp prints like this one that are still in near mint condition, in their original folders, and have never been framed. Image size of the print is 6 1/2" X 9" and overall size, including the white border, is 12' X 14" About the Artist: William C. Morris (Bill) is a native of Mobile, Alabama. William C. Morris is both nationally and internationally proclaimed and has recently received the title of ?Master Artist? by the Arts Society of the American West. His accomplishments include three Waterfowl Stamp designs including winning the 1984?85 Federal Waterfowl Stamp often called the largest art competition in the world. His entry won over 1581 artists. His artwork is in galleries throughout the United States, Europe and Asia and in prominent private collections including the White House, National Art Gallery, The Smithsonian Institute, Museum of the Rockies, Museum of the West, the Warner Westerfelt Museum, and the Mobile Museum of Art.
