Vintage - Space shuttle Large Spheres / Set of Two Paperweights
This rare pair of Space Shuttle collectibles are a blend of Shuttle collectible and aviation history and stock market investing.
One 3? sphere is made of glass with a state of the art bold laser internally engraved shuttle 3D image suspended inside. An artistic and techno wonder. This sphere comes perched on a large plexi twist display stand which gives it the appearance of floating.
The other is a lucite 3 oe? sphere with a 2 oe? silver metallic image of the shuttle appearing suspended on a blue cloud.
The 3 1/2?x 3 1/2?x1? plexiglass base reads in bold print - ?NATIONAL AVIATION AND TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION.?
This entity was basically a stock trading fund including major government contractors and founded in the early days of aviation. As a unified platform for investors to invest in the future of aviation and space exploration. It went through many ups and downs.
Own these two pristine examples. Both are in Superb condition. Would look great in any space, paperweight, shuttle collection. Aviation Investor. Never saw another!!
