Each car came with hubcaps that matched the body color. After that replacement hubcaps were ordered bare and were then painted by the dealer to match your paint code. The great part about these stencils is they instantly mask off the hubcap for painting. There is no taping and cutting with a razor blade. This set is a major time saver. Do-overs are also effortless compared to re-taping the entire cap for each attempt. You can also let it dry and hit it with clear coat which most people skip because of the masking process. The copies you find of the Star stencil are very lightweight plastic which can move around while spraying.
