The base is formed with molded diamond shape facets. Gold trim accents the top. George Sakier's (1897-1988) notable designs are recognized as outstanding examples of the ART DECO phase of Modernism in the industrial and decorative arts. His long association with the Fostoria Glass Company resulted in magnificent pieces. Some of the most striking items are those done in EBONY BLACK GLASS.
