Item description
Antique Folder-Style Cabinet Card Photograph. Depicting Joseph Holland Carlin and his wife Dorothy Perkins on their wedding day, June 15, 1946, Franklin, New Hampshire. Photo by a studio in Laconia, NH. Measures approximately 7.5 x 10.5 including mount. Condition: This is an original photograph, not a copy or reproduction. It is in very good condition. Comments: Joseph Holland Carlin (1921-2005) was the son of Chester Arthur Carlin (1894-1931) and Julia Evelyne Holland (1894-1984). His wife Dorothy Perkins (1921-2000) was the daughter of George Henry Paul Perkins (1882-1964) and Mary Gordon Neal (1883-1958. Joseph and Dorothy had a daughter Lois Carlin Gaines Johansson (1952-2021). Additional Information: This photo came from a very large collection pertaining to the inter-related Perkins, Pedrick, and Ruby (also spelled Roby) families, mostly from New Hampshire. We have separated the photos into singles and groups and have listed them accordingly. Although not all photographs have written identification, we have been able to determine the names of all individuals stated by comparing them with others in the collection as well as duplicates that exist. In some cases we have also included copies of the genealogical reports that have helped us establish dates and family relationships.
