Item description
This is for a beautiful mid-century oil on velvet painting signed and dated lower right. This has wonderful detail, color and composition. The patterns in her robe are exceptional. Cracking in the paint is noted. The frame has a textured wave pattern.
This slender portrait is a gem at 17" x 11.5"
Black velvet canvas provides a deeper black contrast than any other medium. Very few artists can get the most out of it. This is a great work by a great artist. You will not find another piece quite like this.
