Item description
Brand new factory sealed vhs tape is a letterboxed 1.85:1 widescreen version so newer TV owners can use one of your zoom modes to fill the frame. But, the closed captions may fall below the frame if you enable them. Widescreen edition banner was cut-off at the top of the photo, not to worry its there.
Special 35th Anniversary commemorative edition that features interviews with Gegory Peck, other original cast members, and the filmmakers. From the semi-autobiographical novel by Harper Lee.
In a small Alabama town in the mid 1930s, lawyer Atticus Finch (Peck) defends a black man (Brock Peters) accused of raping a white woman. Their father's innate decency affects his two motherless children as they learn about life, especially about that spooky house in the neighborhood.
Peck won a well-deserved Best Actor Oscar, screenwriter Horton Foote received one as well. Robert Duvall makes his screen debut as the mysterious neighbor, Boo Radley.
