(internal #U-200-4) This is a hatpin with 19 mm rust red African Copal bead and 6mm matte black glass beads with gold brass filigree bell cap accents. Hatpins measure 6? long from top to bottom with a cap at the end. Nice piece! No defects. I know because I create these lovely pieces. Hatpins were used extensively in days gone by to keep ladies' hats in place. Now, though some still use them, they are often collected as antiques or just a beautiful accent, displayed in special hatpin holders, flower vases, added to plants, or displayed in vintage hat collections.
