It is also used for nipple care during breastfeeding and to prevent chafing in infants. Alantan Plus ointment soothes inflammation, burns, abrasions and skin wounds. Indications prevention of nappy rash in infants, treatment of various types of wounds, such as abrasions, small cuts and skin cracks, treatment of sunburn and burns after radiotherapy and phototherapy, care for irritated and dry skin, hyperkeratosis of the skin of the hands and feet, supportive in atopic dermatitis, allergic eczema, rhinitis and leg ulcers. Contraindications Do not use the drug: if you are allergic to allantoin, dexpanthenol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine, for eyes, for acute skin inflammation with exudation. Ingredients The active substances are: Allantoin and Dexpanthenol. 1 g of ointment contains 20 mg of Allantoin and 50 mg of dexpanthenol (50% panthenol solution in propylene glycol). The other ingredients are: Lanolin, Liquid paraffin, White petroleum jelly, Ethyl parahydroxybenzoate, Purified water.
