Item description
This is a 2 piece Antique Towle Sterling Silver Georgian Cordova Creamer Sugar Bowl circa 1900 weighing 290 grams for the pair. Similar to Georgian Designs from the late 1700's and also similar to Towle's pattern Cordova, these pieces were likely manufactured in the 1890's. The bases are marked with the Towle Hallmark, Sterling, 7208 and ATRR. I think these may have been a special order for a Railroad Executive, as I can find no reference for any other Towle Hollow Ware with such markings, and usually Railroad Silver is Silver Soldered and not Sterling Silver. Both pieces are engraved and dated "Lloyd 1900". There is some tarnish as well as some denting and the creamer is a little bent. Sold As-Is.
