Item description
Antique Vintage Art Deco Silver Glass Gem Floral Bouquet Brooch Pin.
This was a fun one to figure out. We used a vintage jewelry group to help figure this one out and here?s what the hive mind decided. It?s a flower theme with three different colors of glass or crystal beads. We are describing them based on color and stone but do not warrant them as anything other than glass although who knows really. What was noticeable was the quality of the reinforced metal on back generally used only for higher end precious metals. We used 18K acid scratch test and the color came up dark blue indicating some amount of silver content however we cannot find any mark to confirm. Measurement is 2 inches x 1.25.
It definitely seems to follow an Art Deco theme and at least one person thought it could be vintage Coro but again no marks to prove it. Probably dates to the 1940s.
Will ship USPS first class with tracking to winning buyer
