Item description
Vintage original 27x41 in. US lenticular poster for the video release of the 1990's demonic possession-themed horror film, BRAM STOKER'S SHADOW BUILDER (AKA Shadow Builder), released in 1998 and directed by Jamie Dixon. A demon (Andrew Jackson) is summoned to take the soul of a young boy, who has the potential to become a saint. By doing this, he will open a doorway to Hell and destroy the world. The cast includes Michael Rooker, Leslie Hope, Shawn Thompson, Kevin Zegers, and Tony Todd.
First made on rare occasions in the 1960's, lenticular posters are posters that have a "3-dimensional" look to them, and when you look at them from a slight angle, they display an image, and then when you look at them from a different angle (either from the left of right side), the image morphs into a different one. There are 3 different images in total! It is said that not that many of each lenticular poster was made, likely due to the added cost of production. They can be easily damaged, and cannot be rolled tightly, as can a regular printed poster. This example is rolled as originally issued in very fine condition with light signs of wear on the bottom corners. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws.
