Item description
This is Rare 1955 Franciscan "Contours" Art Ware Decorated #40 Bowl by George T James with a fantastic 3 tone MCM "Jetsons" style decoration!! Contours was only produced for a very short time in 1955 before being discontinued in 1956 by Franciscan, and it was the only line that Franciscan permitted the designer to use his name in promotions of its wares!! Now very rare and sought after, this bowl is in excellent condition, no damage!! It measures approximately 7 inches in diameter and is approximately 1 1/2 inches in height.
