A beautiful vintage official BSA etched blade pocket knife manufactured by Camillus of New York, who produced Scout knives for around 60 years. This USA manufactured official Boy Scouts of America model BSA008 or # 1996 is a 4 blade folding pocket knife. Unfortunately, this US based manufacturer closed their doors in 2007 and more business went overseas. You are considering a Vintage knife that is in the original packaging, the way it would have been purchased in a hardware store, scout store or similar. The scales and shield are perfect, the blades have the original BSA etching, factory edge Shine!! The closed knife measures 3.75 inches. The possible date code on the instruction sheet is 6-81.
