Item description
LOOK TO THE LADY!
By
Joseph Bonney
Philadelphia: J.B. Lippincott Company, (1947).
First edition (stated).
Near fine in blue cloth with the titles in red; in a very good plus, a bit shelf worn illustrated dust jacket with light chipping to the spine ends and flap fold corners, and a white scarred abrasion to the front panel.
A young soldier returns from the World War II and finds that his father is supposed to have committed suicide, and that his mother has married his father's brother. Did his father actually commit suicide--or was he murdered?
A VERY SCARCE POST-WAR MYSTERY!
