In some regions this is called monkey pod wood in others it is called raintree. It has the popular pineapple design that you frequently see in ornate Hawaiian pieces. Beautifully carved with an intricate design on the edges, the piece is not only decorative but practical. It has room for bowls of food on two of the shelves or for knick knacks to put on display.
