Stuffed Fabric Fruits Vegetables Pyramid Colonial Apple Cone SEW PATTERN
Set off your holiday table with a Colonial Apple Cone crowned with a stuffed calico pineapple and surrounded by apples or pears. Patterns taken directly from nature for all your favorite fruits and vegetables are so easy to use you can fill up a basket in no time, or go all out for a bountiful harvest centerpiece.
This project includes full size patterns with seam allowance, easy to follow step by step instructions and diagrams and full color photos of every project.
Projects include:
Four piece designs: Apple, summer squash, Cucumber, carrot and eggplant.
Five piece designs: Pear, orange, turnip and gourd.
Six piece designs: Grapefruit, lemon, lime, tomato, butternut squash, and lettuce or red cabbage.
Eight piece design: Cherry tomato.
Ten piece designs: Round gourd and blue moon squash.
Fourteen piece design: Pumpkin.
Corn: The corn is made in 2 separate parts: the corn cob and the corn husk.
Banana: The banana has 3 different pattern pieces with notches as guides for joining the seams.
Pineapple: The pineapple, symbol of hospitality, can stand alone or serve as the focal point of the Colonial Apple Cone.
Colonial Apple Cone: Colonial apple cones, or fruit pyramids, have long been a tradition in this country. Decorated with apples or pears and topped with a pineapple, they create quite a dramatic centerpiece on a holiday table or sideboard. A calico pineapple surrounded by calico pears or apples substituting for the real thing will add a touch of gaiety and humor to your holiday festivities.
These are loose patterns carefully removed from old magazines or books. All are complete with original photos, charts and instructions.
NOTE!! These are PATTERNS only not the finished product nor the materials to complete the projects.
My items are shipped from Canada and I use Canada Post - we do not have a media rate or first class shipping as in the US. Canada Post charges by the size and weight of the items. When you receive your parcel, shipping costs do not reflect the 15% HST we have to pay in Nova Scotia on stamps. I do not ship on weekends or holidays as there is no mail service available at Canada Post on these days.
Always happy to combine items when possible to save you on postage. IF YOU PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE ITEM PLEASE WAIT UNTIL I SEND YOU A COMBINED SHIPPING INVOICE BEFORE PAYING. Combined shipping is based on the FINAL WEIGHT of your package - please email me the item numbers if you would like an exact rate for the items you are bidding on. Thanks.
