The original cocktail clasp has been replaced with a simple clasp that is made from 14K WHITE GOLD OVER STERLING SILVER. It is stamped S14K and has a FILIGREE DESIGN. The necklace is between CHOKER and PRINCESS LENGTH, measuring 16.5? long, and the clasp alone measures 3/8" by 3/16". This SINGLE STRAND of PEARLS is made up of 59 SALTWATER CULTURED PEARLS that measure 5.93 - 6.2 mm. These pearls have a VERY LIGHT CREAMY HUE and they are BLEMISH-FREE! The pearls have great luster and are also PERFECTLY MATCHED! The pearls are individually knotted and the total weight is 19.8 grams. The string has slight discoloration from age, but is not stretched. Many more vintage and antique pearl necklaces available as seen in the extra photos. This strand is the middle one in the last pic. *Note - Antique pearls were cultured for a longer time than the modern pearls of today. Therefore, they have thicker nacre and are of higher quality. Pearls are the most difficult thing to photograph to show their true quality and color, but all of my past customers have been more than pleased with the pearls they received.
