Vintage Interior View of Catedral de Mexico City Postcard Cathedral Church Beautiful lithograph of the Cathedral in Mexico City. Measures 5.5" x 3.5" Very Good condition, Canceled vtg stamp. (correos mexico 6 cent stamp 1944) comes with clear postcard sleeve. "You and John should come down here. I am thrilled beyond words with Mexico city and we are having lots of fun too. It is quite cool and we wear coats all the time. Love to jula" Sent to Mrs J G Harlan of Silver City NM (died in 1968) Bio Lucille Harlan, 66, who had been a resident here for 42 years, died Monday evening at Hill crest General Hospital, following an. Illness of some duration. Survivors of Mrs. Harlan include her husband, John G. Harlan, of Silver City; her daughter, Miss Julia Andrea Harlan, teacher in the San Diego, Calif. school system; a brother, John A. Davis, Jr., and a nephew, John A. Davis III, of Ft. Payne, Ala. Mrs. Harlan was born in November, of 1901 in Ft. Payne, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John A. Davis. Following graduation from Judson College in Marion, Ala., she taught school for four years. She came to silver City as a bride in 1926. She then taught English and Spanish in the Hurley High School approximately 10 years, and served as acting principal of the school during her last year there. Mrs. Harlan was a charter member of the Grant county chapter of the American Association of University Women; and had been active in local Girl Scouting for 15 years. She was also a member of the Faculty Women's Club at Western New Mexico University. She took an active part in the Women's Society of Christian Service of the First Methodist Church and was a study leader of Circle No. 1 of that organization. The funeral arrangements are pending with the Curtis Mortuary of Silver City. In lieu of flowers, family members have requested that those so desiring make contributions to the local Cancer Society, in care of the Curtis Mortuary. Yes, we combine shipping!
