Item description

Goji Berry Live Semi Bare Rooted Plant PLANTS WILL BE DUG UP AFTER PAYMENT TO GET YOU THE FRESHEST PLANT AND GIVE PLANT A BETTER CHANCE. Plant may trim short during the shipping due to very tall for full growing season and better survive From November to March, We ship these plants in their dormant state. This means they will have no leaves. The stem will be strewn with buds for this coming spring's growth. If you live in a southern state, these will push new growth upon planting them as dormancy is dependent on hours of daylight and temperature. We are located in PA State and temperatures can differ drastically around the country. Used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years, Goji berries are extremely nutritionally dense and high in antioxidants. Claimed to enhance the immune system, improve eyesight and circulation, and protect the liver, Goji berries are truly a superfood. Bright orange-red, 1/2- to 1-in. berries have a slightly sweet, mildly tangy flavor. Berries can be eaten fresh, made into juice, wine or herbal tea, or dried and enjoyed as a snack similar to raisins. The Goji shrub will grow 8-10 ft. in full sun to partial shade, with emerald foliage on graceful, vine-like branches. Star-shaped blooms in shades of white, lilac and purple will appear in early summer, with fruit ripening in July. It will continue to fruit and flower until heavy frost. With no known pest or disease problems and high tolerance to drought, once established, the Goji shrub is an easy plant to grow. Zones 5-9 DIRECTIONS: Soak roots in water for 24 hours if the plant is very stress during the shipping. Transplant into rich potting soil in a large pot (gallon size or larger). Soil line is about 2 inches above the roots. Water well then keep the soil moist but not saturated (well drained). Keep in bright indirect sunlight until established (at least 2 months) then move gradually into full sun. Outside planting is best in the late fall while they are dormant or in early spring after all chance of frost and plants are well established. If your soil is poor, mix it half and half with potting soil. Use a tree and shrub fertilizer after established according to package directions. Customer Service: Your success is our success. If you feel like you cannot leave us a 5 star rating or if you have any issues with your order, like damaged or wrong items etc...just send us a note and we'll promptly resolve the issue for you.
