Retro Sterling by Jordan Brooch Blue Cabochon stone Big Leaf Spray 1940's Vintage, retro Sterling by Jordan big Floral spray Blue glass stone brooch circa 1940's. Beautiful , impressive Sterling brooch featuring a spray of leaves with an big, prong set Cobalt Blue cabochon glass stone set in the center. The brooch measures 3 3/8" long 2" inches at the widest point. Condition: The brooch is was originally vermeil but most of of it on the front is worn , you can see traces of gold in some of the leafs only on the edges. The back has almost all the Vermeil on the leaf's with normal , age wear , the Vermeil is almost gone on the stems and pin clasp. The glass stone is free of fleabites, cracks bright and shiny. The brooch is signed Sterling by Jordan. Sterling by Jordan is R. M. Jordan Co., Providence, RI. mark for jewelry used since 1942. No longer in business and highly sought after.
