Before You Take Creon 5000, Creon 10,000, or Creon Forte: Do Not Take If: You have acute pancreatitis. You are allergic to pork, other pig products, or any ingredients listed in the leaflet. Expiry Date: Do not use after the expiry date. Packaging: Do not use if the packaging is torn, shows signs of tampering, or if the capsules appear abnormal. Before You Start Taking It: Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives. Notify your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, breastfeeding, or intending to breastfeed. Taking Other Medicines: Inform your doctor about any other medicines, including non-prescription ones. Avoid taking antacids when using Creon, or if necessary, take them at least one hour before Creon to avoid interference with its efficacy. How to Take Creon 5000, Creon 10,000, or Creon Forte: Follow your doctor's directions carefully. Your doctor will determine the number of capsules you need. Do not self-adjust the dosage. Swallow capsules whole with a full glass of water or mix granules with soft food if preferred. Drink plenty of liquid while taking Creon. If a dose is missed, take the usual number of capsules at the next meal or snack. Do not double the dose.
