CARL-ART 1/20- 12K GF - Vintage CALLA LILY BROOCH Founded in 1936 by Carl Schraysshuen, this company produced high quality costume jewelry in precious metal and with superb finishes. This large brooch is superbly executed and has retained almost the quality of finish it had 70 years ago when it was made. Approximately 3? long. X. 1 1/2? wide it is a dimensional representation of two lovely Calla Lilies arranged in a bouquet / corsage and banded together in graceful unison. It is difficult to show the fact that the petals are a subtle rose gold, as is the bottom band holding the stems. The picture of it in the jewelry box shows this the best. It is definitely marked 1/20th. 12K GF above the classic C.A. With a straight arrow thru the letters left to right pointing. A true get-noticed piece with timeless appeal and style.
