Vintage West German Scheurich Fat Lava Banded Jug 484-21 This is a vintage West German Scheurich Fat Lava banded jug embossed 484 - 21 W.GERMANY on the bottom. Has gold bands separating volcano red and brown colors. It is approx. 9 1/2" tall, has a top diameter of 4", and bottom diameter of 4-1/2" across the circular base. It measures 25" circumference around the widest part. It is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks, chips or repairs. Minor frits and pimples in surface common for this type of ware. It is quite heavy as shown by the shipping cost. My items are shipped from Canada and I use Canada Post - we do not have a media rate or first class shipping as in the US. Canada Post charges by the size and weight of the items. When you receive your parcel, shipping costs do not reflect the 15% HST we have to pay in Nova Scotia on stamps or the 9% Final Value Fee now charges on shipping. I do not ship on weekends or holidays as there is no mail service available at Canada Post on these days.
