Item description

Vintage original 11 x 14 in. US lobby card from the 1970s British horror thriller, THEATRE OF BLOOD, released in 1973 and directed by Douglas Hickox, in which a Shakespearean actor takes poetic revenge on the critics who denied him recognition. The cast includes Vincent Price, Diana Ring, Ian Hendry, Harry Andrews, Coral Browne, Robert Coote, and Jack Hawkins. Printed for the film's original US theatrical release by United Artists, this is lobby card #3 from the set of 8 cards and depicts Vincent Price and one of his unfortunate theatre critics. It is unrestored in near-fine condition as shown. Provenance: The Ronald V. Borst Collection.
